Boy and Bear Revisited

I know that I posted these paintings not too long ago, but I was not satisfied with them. I have been looking and looking at them posted on my wall in my apartment. After standing there with my hands on my hips while tapping my toe I decided that I would not be happy without re-painting them. These are the pieces that came from that conclusion. I am much happier with them and I plan to continue on!

IF - Carry

Mr. Turtlesworth carries his home on his back. It is very convenient for travelling, wardrobe changes, and tea time.

Suspend

I have always been interested in all things circus. This was the perfect opportunity to create a piece that revolved around it!

Boy and His Bear First Final

I am doing it! I am moving on to the final illustrations for the children's book I have been working on for some time now. I am so excited to be doing this. It is finally becoming a reality. This first work is actually page two. I am not sure why, but I didn't want to start in order :)

Monster Growth Chart

Its about 2 months late, but I finally finished this growth chart for my friend that just had her first baby! Congratulations, Liz!

This is a sneak peek for you! I have been working on sketches and a story in my spare time. I just finished the color studies this week. Hopefully I will be posting final paintings very soon. In the meantime, meet Queen B and her crew jumping for joy.
