This is the first time that I have documented the process I go through to create a woodblock print. Innogen is my current project. It starts with a plain ole block of wood that I draw on. Then I carve away the pieces I want to keep white (the color of the paper) and print the first color. This continues until I complete the print! Stay tuned for the rest!

This is the first piece I have carved on basswood. It is very similar to white pine.....except better! I am impressed.
